Point your phone at any landmark.
Hear the story behind it.

Before: a confused traveler in front of a dim Eiffel Tower at night. After: the same traveler smiling while scanning a glowing Eiffel Tower with the SnapGuide app, an Eiffel Tower audio player surfacing at the bottom.

Point. Listen. Done.

Snap a photo of the building. Hear a 2-minute story you'll actually remember — the kind your guidebook would never print.

  • Hand-written by humans who walked the streets
  • Works on cellular, eSIM, hotel WiFi — whatever you've got
  • Your pace, your route — no flag-chasing

Use it in 3 taps.

1

Open the camera.

Hit the button. Phone goes from pocket to portal.

2

Point at the landmark.

Cathedral, weird statue, that bridge — anything older than yesterday.

3

Listen to the story.

2 minutes, comedian voice, the version your guidebook would never print.

Tomorrow you're standing in front of something 800 years old. Tomorrow it has a story. Tomorrow you're the one telling it at dinner.

Every continent. Even your weird side trip.

Major landmarks are hand-written. Smaller spots use AI in the same comedian voice. The voice is AI; the storytelling is human.

The honest answers.

How does it actually work?
Open the app, point your phone at a building (or anything that looks interesting), and you'll hear the story. That's it. No typing, no searching, no map. Just point and listen.
Is this just AI reading Wikipedia in a fun voice?
Nope. Big-name landmarks have stories I wrote myself — by hand, sitting on the actual street. Smaller spots use AI to generate stories in the same voice. Either way, you're not getting “construction commenced in 1342.” You're getting the good stuff.
Does it really work in any city?
Pretty much, yeah. Anywhere AI can recognize what you're pointing at, which is most major landmarks worldwide and a fast-growing list of smaller stuff. If something doesn't work, email me. I'll add it.
Will I need data on my trip?
Yep. The app needs internet to figure out what you’re looking at. Most travelers grab an eSIM (Airalo, Holafly) for like $10 — that’s plenty. Working on offline mode for v2.
What if my trip is longer than 14 days?
Two options. Buy two Trip Passes ($40), or grab Wanderer for $39 and get a full year. Yeah, Wanderer is literally $1 cheaper. Math is math.
What about places that aren't supposed to be funny?
Memorials, churches, Holocaust sites — comedy gets dropped. Always. Some places need a quiet voice, and that’s exactly what they get.
Can I cancel my Wanderer subscription?
Anytime. Right from the app. No phone calls, no “are you sure?” popups, no friendship counselor. Cancel and you're done.
What's the refund policy?
30 days, no questions asked. If you're not into it, email me and your money's back. I'd rather you be happy than hold $20 of yours.
Why is the Founding 500 deal so cheap?
Because you're going to tell people about it, and because I want to build this with you, not at you. After 500 spots fill, this deal disappears forever. Yes, “forever” forever.
What languages does it support?
English at launch. Want your language added? Email me — I prioritize whatever Founding 500 asks for.
Who's behind this?
Just me. I'm a software engineer. I went to Europe with my partner, took thousands of photos, and couldn't tell you what a single building was — just that it was popular or pretty. So I built the thing I wanted. Email me with anything: question, complaint, weird idea. I read everything.

Still curious? Email — I read everything.

From your future self

Beautiful photos. Zero memories.

Hey. It's you. Ten years from now.

I just found our Rome photos.
Hundreds of them.

Beautiful.
And I can't remember what a single one is.

The orange building.
The tower everyone photographed.
The chapel we waited 40 minutes for.

Total blank.

I had the time.
I just didn't ask why.

So when you stand in front of something on this trip —
take two minutes.

Hear the story.
Let it stick.

Future you doesn't want a hard drive of pretty rectangles.
They want to remember.
